10-Minute Plays

    BE MORE FUNNY & OTHER SHORT PLAYS

    This collection of 8 award-winning short plays spans a wide range of stories and emotions for two actors. It can be performed on a single evening with as few as 4 actors (2F/2M) or up to 15 actors (7F/8M). The plays also can be done as stand-alone pieces for an audience, an audition or acting class.

    The stories include a couple converting an abandoned Woolworth’s into a theatre; two teens awkwardly navigating their way into adulthood; a tense reunion in a confessional; two guys dancing together for the first time; and an opera diva answering the age-old question, “What is funny?”
