Eric Lane

    Eric Lane is an award-winning playwright, filmmaker and book editor. His plays have been performed in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and China. They are published by Dramatists Play Service, Playscripts and in Best American Short Plays. His short films have screened worldwide, including at the British Film Institute and the Director’s Guild of America.

    With Nina Shengold, Eric has co-edited 14 play anthologies, earning a Lambda Literary Award nomination. For TV’s Ryan’s Hope, he received a Writer’s Guild Award. Honors include the Berrilla Kerr Playwriting Award and the La MaMa Playwright Award. He has received fellowships at Yaddo, VCCA and St. James Cavalier in Malta. Eric is an honors graduate of Brown University.
