Eric Lane’s plays have been published and performed around the world. Premieres include Adirondack Theatre Festival (commission), 59E59, the Wallis, WHAT, HERE, La MaMa, Theatre Travels (Sydney), Encore and Orange Thoughts Productions. His plays have been developed at the Barrow Group, William Inge New Play Lab, Valdez Theatre Conference, and NY Theatre Workshop. He is a Member Artist at New Circle and Ensemble Studio Theatre. 

Eric has worked with such notable actors as Jennifer Aniston, Michael Urie, Marcia Jean Kurtz, Victor Williams, Tony Award winner Miriam Silverman, and Academy Award winner Melissa Leo. He has collaborated with directors Eric Nightengale, Sam Scalamoni, Jonathan Silverstein, Daisy Walker, and extensively with Martha Banta.
